The office is responsible for the refuse disposal system of Taipei Water Source Domain, and authorizes the streets refuse disposal management to the local public offices. In addition, the refuse disposals of other remote areas are authorized to private sanitary companies. The amount of collecting is about 7,000 tons/year and still increases year by year. Because of proper garbage cleaning and delivery, it hasn’t caused pollution. By the means of garbage classification and recycling education, the goal of decreasing refuses has been achieved.
