Application shall be handled according to Article 4 Forestry lumbering permit of Forestry lumbering verification regulation：
1.national-owned forestry：shall be handled according to national forestry regulation.
2.public-owned forestry：shall be approved by provincial (city) directing institution.
3.private-owned forestry：shall be approved by direct jurisdiction municipality or county (city) directing institution. However, the lumbering of protected forestry shall be handled according to previous stated regulations. Hence the lumbeing of national-owned afforestation on rental land shall be approved by Forestry Bureau of the Excedutive Yuan, and public-owned forestry and the lumbering of private-owned forestry shall be approved by local governments.
